 Hikone is a famous bourg in Shiga Prefecture. There is a national treasure, Hikone Castle. In this year, a festival was held in Hikone City until March 21th through November 25th. It is a festival of 400th year from establishment of the castle. The character of the named "Hikonyan" was very popular among in the festival. Clay bells introduced this month is "Hikonyan", a character of the festival. |
